Lara Burgess, PhD, RAC
Lara Burgess, PhD uses her academic research background and strong technical writing skills to prepare regulatory documents, including FDA advisory committee briefing books. Lara’s ability to succinctly explain complex research and her attention to detail ensures that these important documents are accurate, clear, and thorough. In addition to her expertise in behavioral neuroscience, Lara has experience writing and editing in many areas of research and statistics. She has authored numerous publications in neuropharmacology and has written grant proposals, research protocols, and conference abstracts. Lara has extensive training in research ethics, experimental design, and data analysis. Lara also works with 3D’s training team to develop content for educational materials and interactive learning programs. Lara completed the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) with the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) and has a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience, with a specialty in the role of serotonin receptors in cocaine addiction.
