Dan brings more than two decades of commercial leadership experience at some of the largest global bio-pharmaceutical companies to 3D clients – skilled at distilling clear, differentiated, and compelling commercial strategy and messaging. An American living and working in Europe for the last 20 years, he’s led multi-cultural teams, business operations, and product launches around the world.

Motivated by insight and discovery, Dan asks key questions to challenge assumptions, expand thinking, and stretch – or break – strategic boundaries. He is adept at drawing out all voices to inform sound business decisions by considering multiple perspectives.

Background

Dan’s experience in the U.S. and Europe spans in country general management, global brand strategy, alliance management, launch excellence, and organizational re-structure and change management. He’s held leadership positions at numerous companies including Roche, AstraZeneca and Gilead. Dan recently co-founded his own health technology start-up. He has a Wharton MBA in marketing and competitive strategy, and a BA in Zoology and Chemistry from Miami of Ohio. Dan is proficient in German and Spanish.

Special Interests

Inspired by the passion and creativity of other entrepreneurs, Dan provides pro bono business mentoring to numerous founders within the Wharton International Network of Entrepreneurs and the City Launch Lab, a London-based incubator space. Dan is passionate about jazz, art and wine, and loves travelling the world with his British-Ghanaian family.
