Loren Reeside

"It’s not about the messages sent, it’s about the messages received. I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact that strategy and preparation have on high-stakes meetings where misinterpretation cannot be risked, and message control cannot be sacrificed."

Contact Loren

Loren is a communications consultant who specializes in regulatory affairs and helping pharmaceutical, biologic, and device sponsors with FDA Advisory Committee meeting preparation. With experience across an expansive range of therapeutic areas, she helps clients achieve successful meeting outcomes through a systematic approach, arduous training, and the refinement of complex data into succinct messages delivered in conjunction with attractive visuals.

Approach

Loren’s goal is to ensure that clients maintain laser focus on the desired outcome, creating the tunnel vision necessary to pare down intricate scientific information into influential communication. She works with clients on messaging and content development for their presentations, while managing expectations for the overall meeting. In addition, she challenges clients in Q&A rehearsal to ensure that the strategic messaging delivered in presentations is reiterated at every remaining opportunity during a meeting.

Background

Before working for 3D Communications, Loren facilitated providers of home health, hospice, and durable medical equipment through the process of achieving accreditation with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. At 3D Communications, she began in a research role focused on profiling FDA Advisory Committee members, then transitioned to project manager, working on slide development, key opinion leader recruitment, and logistics for clients seeking FDA approval. She is currently a senior manager, focusing on content strategy and development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in sociology, from North Carolina State University.

Special Interests

Loren is an avid supporter of 3D’s nonprofit Get Stuff Done 4 Kids. She also participates in various walks and runs each year to raise money for ALS, MS, and other medical conditions. When opportunity permits, she enjoys working out, time on the beach, reading, learning about different cultures through travel, and most of all, time with family and friends.
