Eugene McCarty

Gene brings more than 30 years’ experience in market access, payer negotiation, and leadership in the pharmaceutical industry in oncology, infectious diseases, organ transplantation, HIV, and Specialty Pharmacy.  He has expertise in conceiving, developing, and executing strategic and tactical managed markets initiatives to drive top-line performance and bottom-line results.

Background

Gene developed an expertise leading commercial and government accounts in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  In addition to holding several Regional and National Sales and Managed Market positions at Pfizer, he built and lead the National Payer Field Team for ViiV Healthcare, a joint venture between GSK and Pfizer.  His team was instrumental in growing the organization from $900M to $5B in United States sales. Gene received a BS in Marketing and Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.

Special Interests

Gene spends time on the lake with his family at his home in Mooresville, NC and enjoys restoring and racing old sports cars.
